(NASHUA, NH) – Ms. Amanda E. Rogers, Associate Partner at velocityHUB, was named Greater Nashua’s “Young Professional of the Year” at the 2016 Eminence Awards Luncheon hosted by the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.  The award highlights the accomplishments of young professionals who live and/or work in the Greater Nashua region, and who excel both within their industry and within the Nashua community.

“We are so fiercely proud of Amanda, both for the public recognition she has earned through this prestigious award and for the tremendous work that we see her quietly perform every day behind the scenes to strengthen and grow our community,” said Brendan Keegan, Managing Partner at Velocity Performance.  “Amanda represents the spirit of our community and the success that any young professional can enjoy here in Nashua, and we’re honored to call her part of the velocityHUB family.”

In their announcement of Rogers as the 2016 recipient of the award, the Chamber of Commerce highlighted her leadership in launching “The Victory Academy” for high school and college students across New England.  Through this program, Rogers has positively impacted the lives of over 7,500 young New England residents, developing within them leadership potential that will in turn positively impact their local communities.

The Chamber also recognized Rogers’ leadership in assisting the successful launch of the NH Tomahawks girls lacrosse program and growing it to over 300 players.   Through her role as both Director and coach, Rogers has personally touched the lives of hundreds of NH’s young women, developing within them both athletic and personal leadership skills that have allowed them to pursue their own dreams, including 10 of the girls in the inaugural Girls Tomahawks class who have committed to play at top Division-1 and Division-2 college lacrosse programs across the country.

Rogers also serves as a board director at the Keegan Family Courage & Faith Foundation, through which she spearheads the annual Charity Bowl – an event that in 2015 raised over $40,000 for the Nashua Police Athletic League.

Rogers is leading velocityHUB’s franchise operation in 2016 – a new initiative that allows for entrepreneurs across the United States to leverage velocityHUB’s successful model and training materials to launch their own Management & Consulting business.  Under Rogers’ leadership, the velocityHUB franchise operation will create dozens of new businesses across the country that will in turn help Velocity Performance in pursuit of its mission to create 1 Million leaders worldwide.
