Jim KELLY

Jim Kelly has been working with trust-driven service organizations to solve key leadership challenges for nearly 20 years. During that time, Jim and his team have served as consultants, trainers and executive coaches to some of the world’s leading companies and organizations. In support of this, the entire velocityHUB team delivers high-energy leadership training, business consulting and executive coaching that drives those organizations towards their business & strategic goals.

Jim is a leader in the relationship-based services space, offering solutions that drive the professional brand, business growth and leadership of leading professional service firms & organizations. He is a speaker, author and coach for professional organizations.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Jim is also the founder of Kelly Law PLLC, where, as lead counsel, he’s helped business leaders through a wide range of strategic advisory, business formation, exit strategy, succession planning, dispute resolution, coaching, corporate law, complex litigation, contract negotiation, telecommunications leasing & contracts, and real estate transactions. He has been cited by clients for exceptional service and delivery.

During this time, Jim served on the Foreclosure Relief Project, driven by New Hampshire’s Legal Advice and Referral Center. In this role, he assisted in saving hundreds of New Hampshire families and homes from foreclosure.

Prior to this, Jim managed the turnaround of a leading New Hampshire law firm’s troubled Bankruptcy Department. Through process implementation, team coaching, and client development, Jim stabilized the business unit and positioned it for acquisition.

Jim has also developed leadership consulting experience while serving as legal counsel to the Senate of the Republic of Palau, where he provided coaching, legal advice, and counsel to the Senate ranging from matters of legislative drafting and constitutionality of proposed bills, to meeting with state and local leaders, and representing the Senate in litigation.

Jim’s professional experience focuses on driving positive change for executive leadership. He applies this same passion in active support of his community. He currently serves as a Board Member for Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity and consults for Discover Dance Inc. He’s also co-owner of a popular restaurant in Southern New Hampshire.

Jim received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, having earned his B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Women’s Studies from Plymouth State College. Jim holds the distinction of being the first male graduate in this Minor program. Most recently, Jim earned his Certificate in Health Management & Health Care Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Jim likes any sport that involves a board (surfing and snowboarding), and you can find him almost daily at his local CrossFit gym.
